Demolition has begun on the property located at 2215 2nd St. SW, next to our Cascade Lake Office.
The building adjacent to our Cascade Lake Location is being demolished to make room for an additional structure to support MEFCU’s continuous growth.
When the Cascade Lake Office was built in 2001, we had just two offices in leased space in Rochester and assets of less than $136 million. The organization now serves more than 67,000 member-owners across the US through nine offices located in four states, and assets of over $1.3 billion.
As the credit union has grown, so has the need for more space. Bringing these two adjacent lots together will allow us to continue supporting a vast array of products and services for its members and will provide the space needed for even more growth. The new building will house MEFCU staff, a conference room for easier member access, as well as other administrative and support departments.
The anticipated completion date for the new building is June 2022.
