Visa Fraud Text Alerts

The alert service allows you to monitor your debit and credit card transactions and offers you peace of mind by providing timely information that helps monitor your account for potential fraud. Alerts are sent to the phone number provided and are associated with your card number. 

If we identify a suspicious transaction on your card, a text alert will be sent to your mobile phone. This will include the amount of the transaction, the merchant name and location, and the last four digits of the Visa card used.

    To stop receiving alerts reply STOP.

We will ask you to respond to the alert, and tell us if it was a valid charge or not. If the transaction we identified is fraudulent, you will be directed to call the fraud department at (866) 498-9047 for further assistance. Your card will be blocked from additional use.

To Enroll

Visit our Fraud Alert Website to register your card. You will need the following:

  • Cell Phone Number 
  • Full Visa Card Number
  • Expiration Date: MMYY
  • CVV/CVV2 Code, 3 Digits on the Back of Card

After submitting the information, you will receive a text message confirming your enrollment. You must reply “yes” to this message to complete your registration.

If you change your mobile phone and want to cancel your enrollment in the alerts service, you will need to opt-out of the service. Simply reply “STOP” from your mobile phone to any alert you receive. This removes you from receiving text message alerts. To register a new number, simply go through the steps again.
